Privacy Policy

Short, because we collect very little. Last updated 16 September 2026.

The whole thing in three lines

Who this is about

algrohack operates www.algrohack.com. In this policy “we” means algrohack, and “you” means anyone who visits the site or joins the waitlist.

algrohack is an independent project, not yet an incorporated company. It is run by one person, and the address below reaches them directly. If that changes, the registered entity will be named here.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist: your email address, and a short label for where you came from — something like “instagram” or “ref:youtube.com”, taken from the link you clicked. That is the entire record. Two fields.

If you only visit: nothing that identifies you. We count page views through Vercel Analytics, which measures visits without cookies and without storing personal data.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your Instagram login or anything else, and there is nowhere on this site to give them to us.

Why we collect it

The email address exists so we can tell you when early access opens. That is the only thing we will ever use it for.

The source label exists so we can see which posts brought people here. It tells us about the link, not about you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no tracker, no advertising pixel and no cross-site profiling, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

The one thing we do store in your browser is that source label, kept in session storage so it survives your scroll down to the form. It is deleted the moment you close the tab.

Who else can see it

Two services process this for us, under their own security and privacy terms:

  • Google Firebase stores the waitlist database.
  • Vercel hosts the site and counts page views.

Nobody else. We do not sell your address, rent it, share it for advertising, or add you to any other list. Both services run infrastructure outside India, so your email may be stored on servers in other countries.

How long we keep it

Until early access has opened and we have emailed you, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. We do not keep a waitlist we are no longer going to write to.

Your rights

You can, at any time and without giving a reason:

  • Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
  • Ask us to correct it.
  • Ask us to delete it, which removes you from the waitlist.
  • Raise a complaint about how we have handled any of the above.

One address covers all of it: info@algrohack.com. A person reads it, and we aim to reply within seven days.

Children

algrohack is built for people running their own content, and the waitlist is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect anything from children. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, write to us and we will remove the record.

Security

The waitlist is write-only from the public site: the database rules permit adding an address and nothing else. No visitor can read, list, change or delete entries, including their own, which is why removal goes through email rather than a button.

Changes

The product is pre-launch and will grow, so this policy will change with it. The date at the top always says when it last did. If a change ever means we use your email for something beyond telling you about access, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly updating this page.
